ePIC Canada 2026

Lifelong learning. Lifewide recognition. All learning counts – for citizens and communities

Monday, September 28 and Tuesday, September 29, 2026
Ottawa — Canadian War Museum
Pan-Canadian event

What is ePIC Canada 2026?

ePIC Canada 2026 is a pan-Canadian gathering dedicated to the open recognition of learning and skills, and to the emergence of a more inclusive, collaborative and resilient learning society.

Building on the international ePIC movement and the work carried out by the annual ePIC conference in Europe on open recognition, inclusion, and the equal value of all forms of learning, ePIC Canada offers an opportunity to apply the global values and practices of open recognition to the challenges of skills development here in Canada.

The event brings together stakeholders from education, industry, skills development, digital technology, artificial intelligence, public policy, community development and social innovation to build recognition practices that are more inclusive, human and open.

Our vision

To make Canada an international driving force for open, inclusive and human recognition, where every person can have their learning, skills and potential recognized, throughout and across life in both official languages.

"Learning, recognizing, collaborating differently."
